Nanton FCA Crossfield CGRA High RIver CGRA Olds Barrel Bash Welcome to the photo gallery for Edgetech Multimedia Services Inc. This company was started by myself, Lonnie Edge, in 2008 after I discovered that I am in fact, pretty not bad at taking pictures. It all started with rodeo photography which, with 2 grandfathers in the Canadian Rodeo Hall of Fame, was something near and dear to my heart. Unfortunately, having an artificial leg prevented me from pursuing any rodeo dreams I may have had. Therefore, in order to be around rodeo in a capacity other than a fan I bought a 10.2 M pixel Panasonic Lumix Z50 and headed down the rodeo trail. During my first season of taking pictures at FCA rodeos I ended up attending a cowboy wedding that didn't have a photographer. The pictures turned out really well and led to more weddings and some family portraits, mostly for cowboys/cowgirls I know. Anyways, this snowballed and resulted in the creation of Edgetech. ***Unfortunately, for the foreseeable future I will not be taking anymore rodeo pics as I have returned to University in South Korea to pursue a PhD in International Relations and foreign policy studies. I will however be uploading the huge backlog of rodeos from seasons past that a lack of a proper internet connection prevented me from uploading these past few years so please feel free to get nostalgic and buy some of those. All monies will go towards feeding a starving student in a tiny Asian country :) Thanks for your support.
